Upgrade your Garmin Tread 5.5" motorcycle sat nav with the Group Ride accessorory. Once installed on your motorbike and connected to your Garmin Tread 5.5" the Group Ride Tracker enables you to share your location, send pre-defined messages e.g. "On my way", "Meet me here", etc. You can also share live route tracking and create and join group rides with up to 20 other Garmin Tread 5.5" and Garmin Tread sat nav users also using the Group Ride accessory within a 2-4 mile radius.

The Garmin Tread 5.5" Group Ride Tracker uses VHF radio frequencies, no mobile phone coverage is needed. Range performance varies based on the terrain and other line-of-sight limits. Below are some examples of typical perfomance:

‣Sand dunes - 1-2miles
‣Open countryside / grass land - 2-4miles

A wireless headset can also be paired with the Garmin Tread 5.5" to transmit your voice over the radio.

The Garmin Tread 5.5" Group Ride Tracker includes a high-current hardwire power cable and a larger Garmin Tread 5.5" motorcycle motorcycle mount (with connection for VHF antenna). These accessories replace the Garmin Tread 5.5" Motorcycle Wiring Harness and Garmin Tread 5.5" motorcycle mount bracket that come supplied with the original purchase of the Garmin Tread 5.5" powersport navigator.
