This cookie policy explains what cookies are, how ActiveGPS.co.uk uses them, and the choices you have regarding their use. This policy applies to the website https://www.activegps.co.uk, operated by Active Alliance Limited.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, improve efficiency, and provide information to the website owner. Cookies do not contain personal information such as your name or payment details.
We use two categories of cookies on this website:
Strictly necessary cookies - These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as adding items to your shopping basket, logging in, or completing a purchase. Without these cookies, services you have requested cannot be provided. Our payment processor, Elavon (Opayo), also uses cookies as part of the secure checkout process to store details of the goods being purchased. Once your payment is complete, the transaction ends and the cookie data is passed securely to Elavon. No payment card details are stored by ActiveGPS.co.uk.
Analytics cookies - We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how visitors use our website. This includes data such as the number of visitors, which pages are viewed most often, and how visitors navigate through the site. This information helps us improve the website and the experience for our customers. The data collected is aggregated and does not identify any individual visitor. Google Analytics uses its own cookies to collect this information.
When you first visit our website, a cookie notice will appear. By clicking Accept you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
• View the cookies that have been set and delete them individually
• Block third-party cookies
• Block all cookies from being set
• Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please be aware that restricting or disabling cookies will affect the functionality of our website. In particular, you will not be able to add products to your basket or complete a purchase if strictly necessary cookies are blocked. For guidance on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit www.aboutcookies.org.
In addition to our own cookies, third-party services used on this website may also set cookies on your device. These include:
Google Analytics - Anonymous website usage statistics. For more information, visit Google's Privacy Policy.
Trustpilot - We display Trustpilot review widgets on our website. Trustpilot may set cookies when these widgets load. For more information, visit Trustpilot's Privacy Policy.
Google Tag Manager - We use Google Tag Manager to manage scripts on our website. This tool itself does not set cookies, but scripts it manages may do so.
We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology or legislation. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We recommend checking this page periodically.
If you have any questions about how we use cookies, please contact us or write to: The Data Protection Officer, Active Alliance Limited, 47 Caverstede Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE4 6EX, UK.
