Keep your Garmin RAM Handlebar Mounting Kit secure when your bike is left unattended. This genuine RAM Pin-Lock Security Knob replaces the standard wing nut on your RAM Mounting Kit with a lockable alternative, making it significantly harder for the mount to be removed from your handlebars without your knowledge.
Quick and easy to fit, the security knob threads straight into place with no tools needed. It comes supplied with two keys, so you can remove the mount yourself whenever needed — ideal if you switch bikes or want to transfer the mount to another vehicle.
Please note: The RAM Pin-Lock Security Knob requires the RAM Mounting Kit to function and cannot be used as a standalone product. The Garmin RAM Mounting Kit is available separately from ActiveGPS.

If you use the Garmin RAM Mounting Kit to mount your Garmin device - such as a Garmin zumo XT3 or Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus - on your motorbike, quad bike or other vehicle, and your bike is regularly left unattended, this RAM Pin-Lock Security Knob is a worthwhile addition. It replaces the standard wing nut on the RAM mount kit with a lockable alternative, making it significantly harder for someone to remove the mount cradle while you're away from your bike.
Please note: The PIN-Lock Security Knob is designed to deter theft of the RAM mount cradle - it will not prevent the theft of your Garmin device itself. We recommend always removing your Garmin sat nav when leaving your bike unattended.
Installation is quick and straightforward. The security knob simply threads into place where the existing wing nut sits on the RAM mount kit - no tools required. Should you need to remove the RAM mount kit at any point, simply unlock the security knob using one of the two keys supplied with your purchase.
Please note: The RAM Pin-Lock Security Knob requires the Garmin Handlebar Mount Kit (pictured below) to function - it cannot be used on its own. The RAM Handlebar Mount Kit is available separately from ActiveGPS.

The RAM Pin-Lock Security Knob is designed for use exclusively with the Garmin RAM Mounting Kit. Once fitted, it helps deter the removal of the RAM mount kit from your bike's handlebars or other mounting position when left unattended. Please note: This security knob cannot be used as a standalone product - the RAM Mounting Kit is required.
