The Garmin GT40 transom mount transducer is perfect for the shallow water fisherman who want traditional sonar, CHIRP ClearVu and CHIRP SideVu scanning sonar.

Once connected to your compatible Garmin Chartplotter or Fishfinder the GT40 transom mount mount transducer cconsistently displays fish arches as well as clear pictures of objects, structure and fish that pass below and to each side of your boat.

The CHIRP ClearVu/SideVu elements have a power rating of 500W per element (1,500W total) and operating frequencies of 455/800 kHz. The traditional sonar has a power rating of 500W and operating frequencies of 77/200 kHz. It also includes a built-in fast response temperature sensor.
