Smaller than a matchbox, the GPS antenna includes 3 metres of cabling, which enables you to simply plug in the back of your compatible Becker Traffic Assist sat nav.

Becker Traffic Assist External GPS Antenna

When using any sat nav for navigation, a constant signal from the orbiting GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites are essential at all times. Without at least three satellites being picked up by the Becker Traffic Assist sat nav will result in no navigation. In the majority of vehicles this isn't an issue, however in certain vehicles with windscreens that contain metal e.g. heated windscreens can severely reduce or even block out a GPS signal all together.

The answer in these vehicles is buy and use this remote genuine Becker Traffic Assist GPS antenna with MMCX connection. The best place to position the GPS antenna is anywhere you get an uninterrupted view of the sky above and the GPS satellites. This could include the corner, base or top of the front windscreen or the rear parcel shelf. It's even been known for GPS antennas to work extremely well from within front headlamps!
