Charge and power your compatible Garmin Camper, DriveSmart, nuvi sat nav with this genuine Garmin TA20 vehicle power cable. One end of the car charger simply plugs into your vehicles cigarette lighter socket, while the other plugs either directly into the back of the nuvi satnav or your units suction cup mount cradle.

The TA20 vehicle power cable will work in vehicles with a vehicle/car battery output of between 10-24 volts.

Charge or power your compatible Garmin car, truck or motorcycle sat nav or GPS device from your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket with this genuine Garmin mini USB vehicle power cable. One end of the car charger simply plugs into your vehicles cigarette lighter socket, while the other plugs directly into the back of your compatible Garmin sat nav or GPS device.

The genuine Garmin TA20 mini USB vehicle power cable will work in vehicles with a vehicle/car battery output of between 10-24 volts.

What's the difference between the TA10 and TA20?

The TA10 has been superseded by the TA20. The basic difference is that the TA10 had a green LED light on the cigarette lighter adaptor, whereas the TA20 has a blue LED light on the cigarette lighter adaptor. Functionality wise the TA20 does exactly the same as the TA10, it's just the latest version of the cable.

What is the Garmin TA20 vehicle charger compatible with?

The Garmin TA20 vehicle power cable will provide POWER to any Garmin Camper, DriveSmart or nuvi sat nav but, for embedded Traffic reception, it is the ONLY cable to buy for the following Garmin sat navs:

Garmin Camper 660, 770, 780, DriveSmart 51, 50LMT-D, nuvi 2408, 2418, 2529, 2548, 2568, 2569, 2598, 2599, 52, 54, 62, 64.

Please note: Models above also include those ending in the following letters: LT,LMT, LMT-D - e.g. nuvi 2548LMT-D. If your nuvi model did not include the letter 'T' in its description then you may not have a built in (embedded) traffic receiver e.g. Garmin nuvi 52LM. If you buy this cable for a nuvi model which does not include a built in traffic receiver then it will only provide power to your nuvi. This cable cannot provide traffic services to a nuvi model which does not already have embedded (built in) traffic services.

What do the letters stand for? LT = Lifetime Traffic, LM = Lifetime Maps, LMT = Lifetime Maps and Lifetime Traffic, LMT-D = Lifetime Maps and Lifetime Traffic via the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) network. These letters signify what your original Garmin nuvi sat nav was supplied with.
