The Garmin nuvi 265 sports a sleek, slim design. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or foot, for up to 5 hours.

The Garmin nuvi 265 3.5-inch colour screen makes it easy to navigate, simply enter a destination or postcode, and the Garmin nuvi 265 will take you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, Garmin nuvi 265 accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and speed cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

The Garmin nuvi 265 includes many travel tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. The Garmin nuvi 265 also comes with Garmin Lock, an anti-theft feature.

Installation

The Garmin nuvi 265 has been designed to be plug and play, and as such can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle with ease. The Garmin nuvi 265 is powered with the 12-volt vehicle power adaptor and attaches to your vehicles windscreen via the Garmin nuvi 265 suction cup bracket. Alternatively with the dashboard disk you can mount the suction cup bracket on your dashboard instead, all three accessories are supplied with the Garmin nuvi 265.

Speed Camera Subscription

The Garmin nuvi 265 can also alert you to UK speed camera locations, the data which is supplied from Cyclops is updated weekly, so you always have access to the most up-to-date information. Subscription to the Cyclops UK speed camera database is priced at £39.00 for 1 year.

Map Coverage

The Garmin nuvi 265 is preloaded with City Navigator® NT for United Kingdom, Eastern and Western Europe provided by Navteq.
