Garmin Camper 795 caravan and motorhome sat nav is preloaded with UK and Full European maps and Traffic via Smartphone App. Maps are free to update for the lifetime of the Camper 795 sat nav and the traffic information is also subscription free.

The Garmin Camper 795 features a large 7-inch screen and the speaker has been enhanced for louder, clearer voice instructions. The Gamrin Camper 795 also features WiFi and Bluetooth technology for maps and software downloads and handsfree calling.

The Garmin Camper 795 enables you to enter the profile of your car plus caravan or your motorhome, the sat nav will then only route you along suitable roads for your vehicle. The Garmin Camper 795 also provides enhanced features making navigation easier than ever before including: camp site information and other camping points of interest, etc. Multi-stops can also be entered in to the Garmin Camper 795 plus you can enter roads and cities you would like to drive include along your journey.

The Garmin Camper 795 sat nav is designed for use with a motorhome and/or car towing. A powered-magnetic suction cup mount secures the Garmin Camper 795 to the windscreen of your car or motorhome. An impressive 7-inch touchscreen then makes it easy to see your route from A to B.

Lifetime UK and European mapping is provided for FREE for the lifetime of the product.

You can enter your vehicles size, load and weight of your car and caravan and/or motorhome and you will then be routed avoiding low bridge heights, sharp curves, steep gradients, weight limits and more. You can also save different vehicle profiles and then change caravan/motorhome profiles at the touch of a button enabling quick change-overs between different vehicles.

The Garmin Camper 795 features Bluetooth and WiFi. Bluetooth is for hands-free calling whereby there is an integrated speaker and microphone. You can also see smart notifications for calls, texts, app alerts and more all of which appear on the sat navs display. The built-in WiFi connectivity makes it easy to download maps and software without the use of a computer.

You can also control the Garmin Camper 795 by voice commands making it easy to use.

Optional Reversing Camera

As an optional Garmin Camper 795 accessory you can add a reversing camera as the Garmin Camper 795 is compatible with the Garmin BC50 Wireless Reversing Cameras and Garmin BC 35 reversing camera to provide a view behind your car, caravan or motorhome. Garmin Camper 795 sat nav displays footage on the navigation display to help when reversing your vehicle.

Motorhome campsites from ACSI and Campercontact and free stop-over places from Trailer's PARK all feature on a large database which is included installed on the Camper 795. When selecting the best camper stop you can filter by price, amenities and more. The Camper 795 sat nav will also show rest areas and other amenities coming up along your route. Further Points of Interest are provided by TripAdvisor, Foursquare and more.

WiFi connectivity is built-in to the device to make map and software updates quick and easy without the need for a connection to a computer. When used with a compatible smartphone you can use hands-free calling and smart notifications. Voice-activated navigation is also included for contol of your sat nav whilst you car driving.

A speed camera database is also included to warn you as you approach a speed camera location. The speed camera database is provided by Cyclops. Furthermore the speed limit will also feature on screen helping you to avoid speeding fines and penalty points on your driving licence. Included are the following speed cameras: Fixed speed cameras, average speed cameras, variable speed cameras, temporary/roadwork cameras, red light speed cameras, mobile camera sites and school zones.

Road warnings are also provided for steep grades (including elevation information), sharp curves, weight limits and more.

The Garmin Camper 795, like all Garmin sat nav's, gets its speed camera data from the Cyclops speed camera database. The database provides advanced alerts to fixed, average speed, mobile, variable, temporary roadwork, red light and red light speed cameras. As you approach a camera, your device sounds an alert. Garmin Camper 795 Installation

The Garmin Camper 795 comes supplied with everything you need to mount and power it in your car or motorhome. Included in the box when you buy from ActiveGPS is a vehicle power cable (12/24volt) and suction cup mount which mounts the Garmin Camper 795 on your vehicles windscreen.

Charging the internal battery

We do not recommend using a third party charger with this product. A mobile phone USB charger or a laptop may not be powerful enough to reliably charge the Garmin Camper 795 and may provide an incorrect voltage or insufficient power. An official genuine Garmin AC charger is available for indoor use with this product.

Please bear in mind that the product on this page is designed to be used in a vehicle with power provided by the included vehicle charger. The battery is for short term back up only - not for regular use. For optimum performance we recommend that you use this product connected to cigarette lighter adapter via the vehicle charger. Because of potential power surges which may damage the product you should not start your vehicle with the product connected.

Map Coverage

The Garmin Camper 795 is preloaded with detailed City Navigator street maps for UK and full Europe provided by here maps. Rolling screen transition, accelerated map redraw and routing capabilities make screen zooming even smoother and ensure the navigation always matches your pace.
