Snooper Sapphire with AURA speed camera database offers European protection. Included in the Snooper Sapphire are locations in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Romania and United Kingdom. Snooper Sapphire includes full colour visual alerts plus voice alerts that confirm the speed camera type, speed limit and distance countdown to every speed camera stored in Snoopers' unique AURA database. The Snooper Sapphire detection system features Motorway mode that will only provide alerts for fixed speed cameras located on a motorway road. You can set the pre-alert distance of the Snooper Sapphire in 50metre increments from 100metres to a maximum of 1000metres or you can select Auto Range.
Unlike AURA, many other GPS databases rely largely on locations provided by hobbyists who might not be able to tell a speed camera or a red light camera from a traffic flow camera or a surveillance camera. These databases could result in annoying false alerts, which could lead you to start ignoring even legitimate alerts -defeating the point of having a GPS database in the first place. Other databases are not updated every day, and they also limit how often you can download updates. As a result, devices using these databases are not as up-to-date as they could be and are likely to miss alerts. Snooper Sapphire Installation Snooper Sapphire is ready to use - straight from the box. Simply plug the power lead into your cigarette lighter socket, connect to the power bracket and then use the windscreen mount to secure the Snooper Sapphire to your vehicles windscreen. Snooper Sapphire can be installed onto a motorcycle. An earpiece is available as an optional extra so that audible alerts can be heard.
