TomTom GO Expert 5", 6" and 7" sat navs - 9th December 2022

TomTom's latest large vehicle sat navs are now available to purchase from ActiveGPS. Replacing the popular out-going TomTom GO Professional 6250 model, these three sats navs are designed for use with trucks, coaches, van and other large vehicles. The latest TomTom GO Expert range comprises of three models (each with varying screen sizes):

TomTom GO Expert 7" 1280x800 pixels high resolution High-Definition touchscreen display
TomTom GO Expert 6" 1280x720 pixels high resolution High-Definition touchscreen display
TomTom GO Expert 5" 480x854 pixels touchscreen display

NEW - Garmin dezl Headset 100 and dezl Headset 200 - 8th October 2022

Pair the latest Garmin dezl Headsets with compatible Garmin dezl LGV truck sat nav models to receive crystal-clear audio from navigation prompts, hands-free calls and more.

The range comprises of two models:

Garmin dezl Headset 100 - Single headset - premium trucking Bluetooth-enabled headset and boom microphone.

Garmin dezl Headset 200 - Choice of single or dual headset - premium trucking 2-in-1 Bluetooth-enabled headset and boom microphone (pictured below).

Snooper MY-CAM RFC2 Front and Rear Dash Cam - 24th August 2022

The Snooper MY-CAM RFC2 is the latest Snooper dash cam with front and rear-facing/view cameras. Featuring a 156.7° viewing angle, the Snooper MY-CAM RFC2 front camera records in 1080p HD at 30frames per second (fps), while the rear camera records in 720p at 30frames per second (fps).

August 2022 - Planned Industrial Action to affect Royal Mail Services - 22nd August 2022

Royal Mail have confirmed planned industrial action by the Communication Workers Union (CWU) for the following dates:

‣Friday 26th August 2022
‣Wednesday 31st August 2022
‣Thursday 8th September 2022
‣Friday 9th September 2022

It is expected on each of these dates Royal Mail delivery services will be significantly disrupted. Royal Mail will make some deliveries of Royal Mail Tracked and Special Delivery items even on the dates where industrial action is taking place. However between Thursday 25th August, up to and including Thursday 1st September Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery of Royal Mail Special Delivery 9am and 1pm to be delivered before the times specified in their names.

On the dates listed above/below, we will be unable to send any orders using Royal Mail services. This is due to both collection and delivery offices will be closed. We will dispatch orders the next available day including Saturdays. We also expect there to then be delays within the postal network following strike action dates. Royal Mail have confirmed that they will be working to minimise disruption and return services back to normal as quickly as possible.

Listed below are the planned industrial action dates alongside when orders using Royal Mail will be dispatched both before and after strike action by the CWU:

‣26/08/2022 - we will dispatch orders on Thursday 25th August (before) and on Saturday 27th August (after).
‣31/08/2022 - we will dispatch orders on Tuesday 30th August (before) and on Thursday 1st September (after).
‣08/09/2022 - we will dispatch orders on Wednesday 7th September (before) and again on Saturday 10th September (after).
‣09/09/2022 - we will dispatch orders on Wednesday 7th September (before) and again on Saturday 10th September (after).

Please note: We also use DPD, UPS and FedEx for deliveries. Deliveries using these services will not be affected by the planned industrial action that will affect Royal Mail delivery services.

The Garmin CamperCam 795 dedicated caravan and motorhome sat nav has been added to the line up of Garmin caravan sat navs. The 7-inch touchscreen Garmin CamperCam 795 features a dash cam built into the unit which records in 1080p HD, up to 30FPS (Frames Per Second) with a 140 degrees (diagonal) field of view.

Garmin DriveCam 76 car sat nav with built-in Dash Cam - 22nd August 2022

The Garmin DriveCam 76 car sat nav has been added to the line up of Garmin car sat navs. The 7-inch touchscreen Garmin DriveCam 76 features a dash cam built into the unit which records in 1080p HD, up to 30FPS (Frames Per Second) with a 140 degrees (diagonal) field of view. Garmin Tread 5.5-inch screen with Group Ride Tracker - 12th August 2022

The Garmin Tread 5.5-inch screen with Group Ride Tracker is now available to purchase from ActiveGPS. The Garmin Tread 5.5" Powersport Navigator + Group Ride Tracker off-road powersport navigator is designed for for all-terrain use and features the ability to share your location, send pre-defined messages e.g. "On my way", "Meet me here", etc. You can also share live route tracking and create and join group rides with up to 20 other Garmin Tread 5.5" users with a Garmin Group Ride Tracker installed.

Garmin zumo XT Group Ride Tracker - 10th August 2022

The Garmin zumo XT Group Ride Tracker is now available to purchase from ActiveGPS. Compatible with the Garmin zumo XT motorcycle sat nav the Group Ride Tracker enables users to share their location, send pre-defined messages e.g. "On my way", "Meet me here", etc. The Group Ride Tracker also has the ability to share live route tracking and create and join group rides with up to 20 other Garmin zumo XT sat nav users also using the Group Ride accessory within a 2-4 mile radius.

Garmin dezlCam LGV710 truck sat nav with built-in Dash Cam - 1st August 2022

The Garmin dezlCam LGV710 dedicated truck, HGV, van sat nav has been added to the line up of new Garmin truck sat navs. The 7-inch touchscreen dezlCam LGV 710 features a dash cam built into the unit which records in 1080p HD, up to 30FPS (Frames Per Second) with a 140 degrees (diagonal) field of view.

The Garmin dezl LGV1010 (10-inch screen) truck sat nav is now in stock and shipping from today.

Garmin dezl LGV810 truck sat nav is now in stock - 6th July 2022

The Garmin dezl LGV810 (8-inch screen) truck sat nav is now in stock and shipping from today. The Garmin dezl LGV1010 (10-inch screen) is coming soon.

Garmin dezl LGV610 and dezl LGV710 truck sat navs now in stock - 5th July 2022

Garmin's latest truck sat navs have started to arrive into stock. The new Garmin dezl LGV '10' range comprises of four models and includes BirdsEye Satellite Imagery featuring aerial photographs of the loading bay / goods yard, truck entrances and security gates (see example below of Garmin dezl LGV710 screen with BirdsEye photo). The main difference within the new Garmin truck sat nav range is the screen size, starting with a 6-inch screen up to a 10-inch screen on the top-of-range model.

Garmin dezl LGV 10 models now in stock include the Garmin dezl LGV610 (6-inch screen) and Garmin dezl LGV710 (7-inch screen). At a later date the range will also be joined by the Garmin dezl LGV810 (8-inch screen) and Garmin dezl LGV1010 (10-inch screen).

Garmin BC50 Reversing Cameras - 21st June 2022

Two new Garmin BC (Back-Up Cameras) reversing cameras are now available to purchase from ActiveGPS. The BC50 Reversing Camera series comprises of two models, these are:

‣Garmin BC50 Wireless Reversing Camera
‣Garmin BC50 Wireless Reversing Camera with Night Vision (NightGlo night vision illumination)

Both models provide a wide angle 160° field of view behind your vehicle. Hardwire installation to your vehicles' rear tail/reversing lights is required to power the Garmin BC50 reversing cameras, professional installation is recommended

The Garmin BC50 reversing cameras are compatible with Garmin CamperVan, dezl 780, 785, dezl LGV 610, LGV 700, LGV 710, LGV 800, LGV 810, LGV 1000, LGV 1010, DriveSmart 66, DriveSmart 76, DriveSmart 86.

Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 models - 14th June 2022

Two new Garmin ECHOMAP chartplotters are available to purchase from ActiveGPS. The new models are named Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 55cv and Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 75cv and offer a 5-inch and 7-inch screen respectively.

Both ECHOMAP UHD2 55cv and ECHOMAP UHD2 75cv chartplotters are preloaded with Garmin Navionics+ marine charts for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Northwest mainland Europe coast and both support a variety of Garmin transducers for two types of sonar: Garmin traditional and ClearVu scanning sonars (transducer sold separately).

Garmin Navionics+ and Navionics Vision+ Marine Charts - 24th May 2022

Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ Marine Charts are now available to purchase from ActiveGPS. You can choose between Regular charts and Large charts. The difference between regular and large is the area or size of coastal water/sea that is included. All charts are made to order and supplied on pre-programmed microSD card with SD card adaptor. What's more all Navionics marine charts purchased from ActiveGPS include with 1 year free subscription to daily updates via the Garmin ActiveCaptain smartphone App.
