The Snooper S3-R neo built-in piezo bleeper alerts you audibly whilst a series of bright coloured LED's alert you visually, indicating the type of location you are approaching. The volume of the alert can easily be adjusted and the pre-alert distance set from a minimum of 100metres to a maximum of 500metres. Snooper S3-R neo with AURA speed camera database provides alerts to speed cameras locations across the United Kingdom. Radar/Laser Detection As Standard Snooper S3-R neo also comes complete with a radar/laser detector (S100RLD) that can either be mounted on the dashboard or inside of the windscreen in your vehicle. The Snooper S3-R radar/laser detector however is also waterproof and comes complete with an under bonnet mounting kit so that it can be positioned within the engine compartment behind the vehicles grille for a neat and professional installation. The Snooper S3-R RLD has been designed to detect all types of radar and laser speed monitoring systems often used in danger spots where 'Fixed' systems cannot be easily utilised, thus ensuring that you will be made alert to nearly every speed monitoring system and accident hotspot whether Fixed or Mobile. Detection of radar and laser is also selectable so that the device can be programmed to detect radar and laser, laser only or can even be turned off in low risk areas.
Unlike AURA, many other GPS databases rely largely on locations provided by hobbyists who might not be able to tell a speed camera or a red light camera from a traffic flow camera or a surveillance camera. These databases could result in annoying false alerts, which could lead you to start ignoring even legitimate alerts -defeating the point of having a GPS database in the first place. Other databases are not updated every day, and they also limit how often you can download updates. As a result, devices using these databases are not as up-to-date as they could be and are likely to miss alerts. In contrast, Snooper has assembled a professional team that devotes every working day to verifying each and every speed camera and high risk zone that goes into the AURA database. The Snooper S3-R neo provides speed camera locations across the United Kingdom. Snooper S3-R neo Installation The Snooper S3-R neo includes LCD screen Control Panel, GPS antenna and S100RLD module (Radar/Laser detector) and can be temporarily or permanently installed. Temporary installation - you can mount the Snooper S3-R neo and S100RLD onto your vehicles windscreen with the suction cup brackets (included). Permanent installation - you can mount the Snooper S3-R neo anywhere on your vehicles dashboard or centre console (provided you have a sufficiently flat area) with the provided mounting bracket. The S100RLD module can then be mounted within the engine compartment using the mounting bracket included. With both installations the GPS antenna can be mounted on the dashboard or rear parcel shelf.
