Mio MiVue 786 is a dashboard camera that is available to buy with a front with an option to add a rear camera (sold separately). Featuring a 2.7-inch for playback this dash cam records with a 140 degree wide-view angle of the road ahead.

GPS technology records location, speed, altitude, latitude and heading. GPS speed camera detection is also built in to the Mio 786 dash cam for which the speed camera database can be updated once a month.

The Mio MiVue will work in both day and night driving conditions.

Deliveries

We offer UK, Europe and Worldwide deliveries. We despatch orders at 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We need to receive your order on those days by 4.30pm. The Mio MiVue 786 WiFi is a stylish, high-quality dash cam with a 2.7-inch touch screen. There are intuitive menus and it is easy to install. The Mio 786 is compatible with the Mio MiVue A20 which is sold separately.

There is integrated WiFi built-in which can be used to share video(s) on Facebook and YouTube. You can also live-stream video of your current journey to friends and family as you are driving.

Up to 128GB SD Cards can be used in the Mio dash cam for continuous recording for 20 hours.

The Mio MiVue 786 records in 1080p Full HD at 30 fps. The aperture is F1.8 and the dash cam uses Sony's high quality optic sensor to record high quality videos. The dash cam records in wide angle of 140 degrees.

GPS technology will record your GPS location and speed on to the microSD card inserted into the Mio 786. You can then use the recorded data with MiVue Manager to playback videos on your PC or Mac computer. The MiVue Manager uses GPS Overlay in Google Maps to display a moving map of your vehicle's route synchronised with the video. You can also quickly combine videos and share them on YouTube and Facebook.

There a free speed camera database which is updated monthly for the lifetime of the device so you will always be alert to the speed camera locations.

Stop and Go technology means you can stay alert at traffic lights and in traffic jams to reduce the chance of a car accident. Forward collision warning system, lane departure warning system, eco drive, headlight reminder and driver fatigue alert keep you safe on the roads too.

Videos are organised by type and date for faster searching.

Direction analyser shows the driving direction. There is also 3-axis g-forces in synchronisation with video.

Installation

The Mio MiVue 786 (when purchased from ActiveGPS) includes everything you need to mount and power it in your vehicle. Simply choose a location on your windscreen and mount the windscreen mounting bracket. To power and/or charge the MiVue 786 dash cam in-car a vehicle power cable with cigarette lighter socket is included.

There is no microSD card in the box. You will therefore need to either buy a microSD card separately.

MiVue Manager Compatibility

MiVue Manager is a tool for you to view the videos recorded on your MiVue Dual 786 WiFi recorder on a PC computer or Mac Computer. The Mio MiVue software can be downloaded from the Mio Service website.

Speed Camera Database

The Mio MiVue 786 WiFi includes free speed cameras and is compatible with both Mac and Windows computers. This is separate from the MiVue Manager software and is accessible via Mio's website.

From the support webpage you simply select your Mio MiVue model name from the dropdown menu and you will see the available updates including speed cameras. You will need to load the speed cameras to a formatted SD card for use with your Mio device.

The speed camera updates are updated approximately once a month.
