Garmin zumo 660 / BMW Navigator Compatibility

Do you own a BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, BMW Motorrad Navigator V or BMW Motorrad Navigator VI. A number of above Garmin zumo 660 accessories are also compatible. Compatible BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, V and VI accessories include: Garmin zumo 660 Automotive Suction Cup Mount (now discontinued).

Question: I have a BMW Navigator V GPS that i would like to use on a job BMW bike, I have been advised that the garmin 660 Mount is compatible, would you be able to confirm whether it is or not?

Answer: Yes, the Garmin zumo 660 Motorcycle Mount Kit is fully compatible with the BMW Navigator V.

Question: I believe that my satnav BMW Navigator V which I had gutted to my BMW K1600GTL is made by Garmin. I am changing my motorcycle to BMW R1200R and am wondering if there is a fitment and power kit to enable me to fit it to the latter bike.

Answer: The BMW Navigator V is the same as the Garmin zumo 660. You can buy accessories for the Garmin zumo 660 above.

Please note: the Garmin zumo 660 Motorcycle Mount Kit does NOT feature the left hand control panel featuring four buttons. It is the mount part with gold pins only. For the correct BMW mount, you would need to buy from your local BMW dealership.

Question: I have a Garmin zumo 660 with a cradle that has a wire set up to power the sat nav. Is it possible to buy a cradle that the zumo will sit into without the power cables and just use the battery so i can take all off bike when not in use?

Answer: We sell only genuine Garmin zumo 660 parts. The motorbike sat nav cradle we sell includes the hardwire power cable affixed to the mount/cradle. It may be possible to remove the powered cable, although we have never attempted this.
