The Garmin nuvi 255T 3.5-inch colour screen makes it easy to navigate, simply enter a destination or postcode, and the Garmin nuvi 255T will take you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, Garmin nuvi 255T accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and speed cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. Garmin nuvi 255T’s lifetime traffic alerts keep you aware of jams, accidents and roadworks on your route, with dependable delay information. These are informed by real-time data from reliable sources including the Highways Agency, police traffic control centres and more than 8000 traffic flow cameras and sensors on motorways and trunk roads across England, Wales and Scotland. This service is broadcast over a national network of FM radio stations to ensure an excellent reception. The Garmin nuvi 255T is powered with the 12-volt vehicle power adaptor and attaches to your vehicles windscreen via the Garmin nuvi 255T suction cup bracket.
