Deliveries

We offer UK, Europe and Worldwide deliveries. We despatch orders at 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We need to receive your order on those days by 4.30pm. When possible we may despatch orders received after that time. No orders are despatched after 5.30pm and no orders are despatched on Saturday or Sunday.

Garmin GTM 21 FM TMC Traffic Receiver

The Garmin GTM 21 traffic receiver is an integrated FM TMC (Traffic Message Channel) antenna and vehicle power cable all-in-one product - providing lifetime premium traffic subscription across 14 European countries including the UK.

To use simply plug one end of the GTM 21 into your car or motorcycles cigarette lighter adaptor point (it may need to be modified for motorcycle use) and the other into your compatible Garmin nuvi or zumo automotive sat nav. Once connected the GTM 21 will both power and charge your Garmin device as well as provide the free traffic information.

The Garmin GTM 21 allows you to monitor traffic flow continuously without interruption or waiting enabling you to know in real-time about traffic congestion in the road ahead, accidents causing traffic jams, roadwork's delays and more. The GTM 21 together with your Garmin sat nav will also provide you with an alternate route.

Installing the GTM 21 traffic receiver

The GTM 21 includes a FM TMC antenna and a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor. The GTM 21 does not require a professional installation; simply use the suction cup to attach the antenna to the vehicles’ windscreen and plug the GTM 21 into your Garmin device and you are ready to receive traffic information.

What is the GTM 21 traffic receiver compatible with?

The genuine Garmin GTM 21 TMC antenna is compatible with the following Garmin nuvi and zumo automotive products:

Garmin nuvi 600, 610, 650, 660, 670, 680, 700, 710, 750, 755, 760, 765, 770, 775, 780, 785, 850, 855, 860, 865, 880, 885, zumo 400, 450, 500, 550 and 660.

Please note: Many Garmin nuvi models end in T e.g. nuvi 760T, the T stands for Traffic which was how the sat nav was originally supplied - with the GTM 21 traffic receiver.

Alternative accessory

The Garmin GTM 21 TMC traffic receiver has been discontinued by Garmin, we are unable to supply you with a replacement GTM 21.

However we do still stock the standard vehicle power cable. The vehicle power cable looks almost identical to the GTM 21, but with one major difference - it does NOT include a TMC antenna required to provide traffic information.

Therefore this alternative accessory will ONLY power and charge your compatible Garmin sat nav.

The GTM 21 was compatible with the following Garmin automotive products:

Garmin nuvi 600 series, nuvi 700 series and nuvi 800 series and the zumo 400, zumo 450, zumo 500, zumo 550 and zumo 660.

Garmin GTM 21 Traffic Receiver Questions and Answers

Question: I would like to know the price for the alternative to the Garmin GTM21 and how to order one?

Answer: The GTM 21 was discontinued by Garmin around 10 years ago. Garmin have never issued a replacement.

An eBay search might yield some for sale. Please note: a number of the Garmin traffic receivers for sale on eBay do not have the UK/European traffic subscription included, including instead a different region e.g. North America. Garmin charge a one off fee to activate the UK/European traffic data services.
