Garmin GPSMAP 66sr outdoor handheld device features a 3-inch TFT transflective colour screen and is preloaded with routable TopoActive Europe.
The Garmin GPSMAP 66sr is the latest handheld GPS device in the Garmin GPSMAP 66 series and is the first GPSMAP 66 series model to feature multi-band technology with expanded GNSS support.
The GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) network that the GPSMAP 66sr can access comprises of the following five worldwide satellite networks; GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS and IRNSS. The benefit means you receive optimal accuracy in challenging locations for example dense wooded areas, steep valleys and canyons, high-rise urban area, etc.
Garmin GPSMAP 66sr also features built-in altimeter, barometer and 3-axis electronic compass and uses an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery for a battery life of up to 36 hours in GPS mode and 450 hours in expedition mode.
You can also add additional mapping to this GPSMAP 66sr for recreational use, driving, use on water and more. It is also perfect for paperless geocaching as it will record location, terrain, difficulty, hints and descriptions.

It features a 3-inch sunlight readable screen and expanded Multiple Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to track your journey in more challenging environments which is better than GPS alone.

Garmin GPSMAP 66sr features built-in altimeter, barometer and 3-axis electronic compass. The GPSMAP 66sr altimeter provides elevation data to monitor ascent and descent information. The GPSMAP 66sr 3-axis compass keeps you bearing wherever you are, while the GPSMAP 66sr barometric altimeter predicts weather changes by showing short-term trends in air pressure.
When paired with your compatible smartphone via Bluetooth, you can receive real-time forecast information and live weather radar, so you’re aware of the surrounding conditions.
