Garmin GPS 18 Deluxe has been deleted and is no longer available.

The Garmin GPS 18 Deluxe module, adds automotive navigation capabilities to your laptop. The Garmin GPS 18 Deluxe WAAS/EGNOS enabled sensor is available in either a serial or USB connection and is designed to plug into most laptop PC's.

Similar in design to the StreetPilot user interface, Garmin's new PC application nRoute, offers auto routing and voice prompt navigation to virtually any address and features more than six million points of interest including service stations, restaurants, hotels and attractions.

The Garmin GPS 18 Deluxe is available in two versions, the Garmin 18 Deluxe USB and the Garmin 18 Deluxe PC.

The Garmin 18 Deluxe USB connects directly to your laptops USB port to supply satellite information and to draw power, directly from your laptops power source. The Garmin 18 Deluxe PC version connects to your computer via your laptops serial port for satellite information, and a separate cigarette lighter adaptor draws power from your vehicles electrically supply. Both systems include an integrated magnetic base and suction-cup bracket to locate the GPS antenna directly onto the inside of your vehicles windscreen
