The Garmin dezl LGV 800 features an extra large 8-inch TFT colour screen which can be viewed in either landscape or portrait mode. The Garmin dezl LGV800 also features WiFi and Bluetooth technology for maps and software downloads and handsfree calling.

The Garmin dezl LGV800 enables you to enter the profile of your truck and then the satnav will route you along suitable roads for your vehicle.

Points of interest specific for truckers such as truck stops, weigh stations, parking, lodging, WiFi connection hotspots and more are included.

Multi-stops can also be entered into the Garmin dezl LGV800 plus you can enter roads and cities you would like to drive include along your journey.

The Garmin dezl LGV800 is also compatible with the Garmin BC 35 Wireless Reversing Cameraand Garmin BC50 reversing cameras. Once either of the Garmin BC reversing cameras are installed you will be able to view the view of the road behind your vehicle making it easier to park you truck, trailer or HGV.

Simply enter your trucks, HGVs or large vehicles height, weight, length, width and hazardous materials (if applicable) into the Garmin dezl LGV 800 and you will be routed avoiding along the best suited route avoiding low bridge heights, sharp curves, narrow roads, steep gradients, weight limits and more. You can also save different vehicle profiles and then change truck profiles at the touch of a button enabling quick change-overs between different vehicles.

Real-time traffic information is available when you pair the Garmin dezl LGV800 with your smartphone and download the Garmin Drive app to access live traffic, weather and real-time fuel prices (charges may apply for this service).

Points of interest appropriate for trucks are also included within the Garmin dezl LGV 800 memory. You can locate preferred truck stops with the preloaded directory of Truck and Trailer Services, which lets you filter listings by brand or amenity. The Garmin dezl LGV 800 features built-in Bluetooth and WiFi technology.

Installation

Garmin dezl LGV800 is powered via the supplied 12/24 volt vehicle power cable and comes supplied with powered magnetic mount with screw down mount and a 1-inch ball adapter with AMPS plate compatible with RAM mounting systems. It is also possible to separately purchase a windscreen suction cup mount for use with the the supplied powered magnetic mount.

It is also possible to add a reversing camera to your vehicle with the Garmin dezl LGV800 screen acting as a monitor. This is an optional extra. Two different Garmin Back-Up Cameras (BC) are compatible with the Garmin dezl LGV800, these are the Garmin BC35 reversing camera and Garmin BC50 reversing cameras (pictured right).

Charging the internal battery

We do not recommend using a third party charger with this product. A mobile phone USB charger or a laptop may not be powerful enough to reliably charge the Garmin dezl LGV800 and may provide an incorrect voltage or insufficient power. An official genuine Garmin AC charger is available for indoor use with this product you can view and buy here.

Please bear in mind that the product on this page is designed to be used in a vehicle with power provided by the included vehicle charger. The battery is for short term back up only - not for regular use. For optimum performance we recommend that you use this product connected to cigarette lighter adapter via the vehicle charger. Because of potential power surges which may damage the product you should not start your vehicle with the product connected.

Map Coverage

Garmin dezl LGV800 comes preloaded with detailed City Navigator street maps for Europe provided from map supplier 'here'. Rolling screen transition, accelerated map redraw and routing capabilities make screen zooming even smoother and ensure the navigation always matches your pace.
