Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 is a new-generation personal navigation device and features a 4.3-inch TFT touch-screen LCD with full 8-digit UK postcode search. The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 2D and 3D maps views displays have been enhanced to include a split-screen and turn-by-turn displays that can be individually selected according to the situation. Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 is preloaded with maps of Western Europe and Eastern Europe, in total the Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 provides street-level mapping for 40 European countries (a full list of available countries is listed below) in 22 different languages. The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 also features Bluetooth interface for safe hand-frees calling, TMC (Traffic Message Channel) module for advanced warning of traffic problems in the road ahead. The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 advanced features include 'Lane Assistant' which alerts the driver to a lane change ahead of time. The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 is equipped with Reality View: nearly 4,000 directional signs on European motorways are presented true to life on the high-resolution display to make it easier to find your way. In addition the Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 features an anti-theft PIN entry system. When the Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 is switched on, a PIN must be correctly entered before the unit becomes operational. In others words: no PIN - no navigation. Without the correct PIN, the unit is useless to thieves. Route Calculation The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 route calculation can be selected according to profiles, which include: normal car, fast car, slow car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian. Telephone numbers can be entered directly on the touch-screen display or selected from the telephone book. Comprehensive Points of Interests The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 map data for Europe contains special destination points of interests (POI) including airports, hospitals, service stations, hotels, restaurants and stadiums. The Traffic Message Channel is available for the Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 TMC system in the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland).
The Becker Traffic Assist Z 200 includes 12 months free subscription to the NAVIGON Radar-Info speed camera database, which features over 18,000 permanently installed speed cameras in 27 European countries.
